Ship Management

  • 1. System purpose

    Computerize the following data for ease of management: ship supervision, boat survey, boat registration, ship certification, survey overdue expedition, and ship-related statistical operations. Exchange data and share information over networks. Improve operational efficiency and provide more convenient services by computerized certificate issuance.


    2. System scope

    Ship supervision and management operations by shipping administration authority including: applications for the purchase and construction of ships; ship measurements; various inspections (including special, periodical, and additional inspections); as well as registering for preservation, setting, transfer, proprietorship, and mortgage or leasehold rights.

     

    3. Organization scope

    Includes the Department of Aviation and Navigation; Department of Statistics, Ministry of Transportation and Communication. Vessel Management Division; North Maritime Affairs Center; Central Maritime Affairs Center; South Maritime Affairs Center; East Maritime Affairs Center; Mazu Office; Kinmen Office, Maritime and Port Bureau and the CR Classification Society.
